Sandra Montes - Managing director - Cometel

Sandra holds degrees in industrial engineering and business administration from UEM, and a Master’s’ in international management from IE Business School. After starting her career at multinational companies, she joined Cometel in 2014 and has been a director of the company since 2016. Cometel is a family company founded in 1987 that executes complete projects on all five continents to transport, treat and distribute industrial waste, mainly from the automotive and aeronautical sectors, from stamping processes, medium and high series machining, casting and extrusion. Since 2020, has been the founder and COO of ScrapAd, a marketplace that operates globally in the field of buying and selling recyclable materials, providing the sector with an end-to-end service of counterparty search, verification services, secure payments and door-to-door logistics, with a disruptive business model through advanced technology. The company already has 3,000 registered users from 100 countries. She has also joined #WomenInTechSpain this year.
