Iñaki Suárez is currently Head of Technology at BAIC - Basque Artificial Intelligence Center. He has a degree in electronic engineering from EHU and a master’s AI4GOV from UPM, PoliMi, FAU and Taltech. He has experience in the industrial sector, dealing with the comprehensive management of data from acquisition to interpretation, including the use of ML or DL techniques. He combines technical knowledge of AI with a strategic vision and application in the industrial world. Besides having a practical approach, he pays particular attention to the ethical implications of AI developments, always seeking to balance technological innovation with respect for regulations, ethical values and people.
