She has an undergraduate degree in physics (from the University of the Basque Country). She has a master’s in robotics and automation from the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of Bilbao.
She is a project manager in the Transport and Mobility Unit at Tecnalia, specialising in cybersecurity.
Her current research areas focus on the field of cybersecurity technologies, especially those concerning industrial systems, where aspects of distributed ledger technologies, privacy preserving computation and cyber intelligence are addressed. She has participated in many national and international research projects related to safety in various industrial sectors.
