F. Javier Herrera, the market manager of the eServices area of the Industry and Mobility Operational Unit at Tecnalia, graduated in telecommunications engineering from the ETSIT of the UPM (1986), and has been working at the technology centre since 2001, handling market development in the Community of Madrid and surrounding areas, with a clear focus on the digitalisation of industry, in particular, and also services and the authorities. He has participated in SME innovation support projects for the Community of Madrid, European Union innovation projects in security and social innovation, and numerous projects for ICT and non-ICT companies in digital enabling technologies such as DLTs, artificial intelligence, high-performance architectures and big data. He represents Tecnalia in several working groups at AMETIC, Clúster Big Data Madrid, Clúster Cybermadrid, DISRUPTIVE, GAIA-X Spanish hub, and LogisTop. He is an approved MadrI+D mentor for NEBTs.
