Jean Théo Ghenda - Director Technologies - EUROFER
Jean Theo Ghenda is Director Technologies of the European Steel Association (EUROFER) since 2018. He holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from The University of Clausthal in Germany. In 2003 he joined the Steel Institute VDEh where he was in charge of energy and thermal process technologies, a position he held until 2013. He joined EUROFER in 2014 in charge of energy and climate change until 2016. Subsequently, he was senior manager for metallurgy at the steel institute VDEh in 2017. He has been actively involved in techno-economic assessments of low-carbon technologies and low-carbon roadmaps of the European steel industry.
